Refurbished 25m Pool at New Milton Community Centre

We have recently finished a complete refurbishment to the 25m swimming pool in the New Milton community centre, Hampshire.

Our job was to resurface, reform the deck level and re-tile the half Olympic swimming pool (25 metre). This was a job that required precision construction techniques, some problem solving, and a very fast turnaround.

Prior to tiling, we needed to tank (waterproof) the pool and deck as the pool had been leaking for years before to the main contractor hired us.

The job used:

• 380 metres squared of Bochtal® ceramic tiles
  
• 300kg of Kerakoll® Fugalite Eco specialist blue grout
  
• Kerakoll® Aquastop 120 tape to cover the expansion joints
  
• Kerakoll® Eco LR leveling compound
  
• 2 coats of Kerakoll® Idrobuild Eco waterproof tanking
• It took a crew of 4 men (Jim, Ross, David, and Alex) 7 weeks (49 days) to complete on time
